Dan + Dave’s building future started with Legos, as childhood friends in British Columbia. Mentored by fathers who built log homes and surrounded by a booming Canadian logging industry, they’ve grown into Contractors who make anything and use resources wisely.
Their unique skills and life experiences complement each project. As co-owners, Dan + Dave have a unanimous mission for building a company that provides an enjoyable and personalized experience to everyone involved.

OwnerAfter retiring as a hotshot firefighter, Dave brings strong team-building and leadership skills to every project. He’s leveraged a can-do attitude working as a carpenter in Brisbane AU, Alberta Canada, Vail CO and San Diego CA. Dave knows that from cabin to contemporary bungalows, a well-connected team of people is behind the most beautiful homes. He’s the Tahoe Trim guy everyone loves to run into on the jobsites - employees, subcontractors, and homeowners alike.

OwnerDan brings over 25 years’ experience in carpentry and craftsmanship to Tahoe Trim. He’s built homes in British Columbia, Highlands, NC, Palm Beach Island, FL and the British Virgin Islands, bringing knowledge of diverse environments and various finish techniques to Tahoe Trim. While most clients love Dan’s focus on detailed finish work, his unseen input at the foundation and framing stage is guided by a carpenter’s sense of exactness.
